PRODUCTS - COMPRESSOR HOUSINGS Ronfeldt supplies many different types of compressor housings and assemblies to major manufacturers in the Heating & Air Conditioning Industry. Our drawn products can be found on both residential and commercial compressors in the United States and abroad. We are producing Base Plates, Mid Shells & Upper Shells for Scroll Compressors that are produced from materials meeting ASTM and/or Pressurized European Directive (P.E.D.). Raw materials for these products range from .120" to .250" thick with blank weights up to 60 pounds. Today, normal shell sizes range from 5" to 18" in diameter and have draw depths up to 26". Ronfeldt has placed duplicate press equipments in our Monterrey Mexico facility to meet global demands for these products.. Our value added processes on compressor housings include:   Resistance welding of lifting lugs, spring seats, shields & electrical boxes.   Assembly and brazing of copper tubing.   Robotic MIG welding of mounting feet and process brackets.   On February 29, 2008, the purchase of Ronfeldt Associates' assets was completed by an affiliate of Ice Industries.
